Bjorn Ulvaeus wouldn't mind Duffy using ABBA's music
London, Apr 9: Former ABBA member Bjorn Ulvaeus has revealed that he is a big fan of Welsh singer Duffy, and would not mind her using the band's music.
The 63-year-old Swedish musician and his fellow ABBA songwriter Benny Andersson have been very selective about who uses their work.
However, he has now singled Duffy, 24, out for her "original sound" and "distinctive voice".
"I always listen to Duffy's hit Mercy when I'm in the car," the Daily Express quoted him as saying at the 10th anniversary performance of the musical Mamma Mia! in London's west end.
Ulvaeus goes on to say that should Duffy ask him for permission to use ABBA's music, and should she perform them just as well as Madonna did, he might consider agreeing to it.
"She's fantastic. Very unusual," he added.
